Million Workshop is a band of visual artists developing a diverse range of content through traditional animation styles and live video. Established in 2014 as an atelier for freelancers in the creative industry, we provide comprehensive production services, creative direction, and visual communication consultancy through a collaborative process dedicated to artistic integrity, innovation, and client partnership.
We play three departments:
Producing a piece of work is not just about the final product but the process — a journey of exploration, craftsmanship, and expression. We blend traditional artistic crafts with modern approach to create unique visual experiences. Every project, regardless of the size, deserves a dedicated, hands-on approach where creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration are vital.
Beginning as a workshop for freelancers, we’ve collaborated with many talented DOPs, animators, creatives, musicians, and craftsmen. While some joined us temporarily for a project or two, others stayed longer, contributing to an array of amazing stuff. Today, we operate as a creative duo, continuing to drop crispy features with our trusted allies.
creative director
Straight from the hip-hop scene of Szeged, Ádám is an MC, a producer and a licensed cook. And a pretty good one too. From the heat of the kitchen, he switched to his other passion and studied animation/graphic design at Illyés Art Academy. While settling down in the industry he graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. He practises most of the animation techniques, he is one of the fastest drawers, he can cook anything eyes shut, plus he is the MC of a Hungarian underground hip-hop posse. The different disciplines make him extra-sensible to rhythm, dynamics, motion and sounds, which are perfect for an animation director. That is why he is the creative director of million.
head of studio
Raised in a family of theatre- and filmmakers, András got involved in the industry since early childhood. He tried himself in almost every department before turning out as the producer and supervisor of million. Before settling down at animation, he spent adventurous years making experimental shorts, participating in art exhibitions, directing theatre plays and working as a freelancer post-production compositor. He later graduated as a media designer from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. Following this, he worked at Post Edison as an animation compositor. The next step from here was the launch of the brand, with the help of freelance animators and creatives who like to dance to their own tunes.
